Speaking at a ceremony on Friday, Sheikh Naim Qassem said the other side’s slogan is enmity with Hezbollah and its allies, Al-Jadeed TV reported.
“However, we attend the elections with two clear mottos, namely continuation of resistance … against Israeli aggression and helping the people with a comprehensive economic and social plan, which we will announce shortly before the polls,” he said.
“The purpose of this plan is building a powerful Lebanon and paying attending to development, the citizens and fighting corruption and the corrupt.”
Sheikh Qassem added that the opponents of Hezbollah seek to undermine the power of resistance so that the US and Israel can do whatever they want in Lebanon.
Those who call for enmity with Hezbollah are among the people who have been in power over the past 30 years and are partners in corruption, the cleric said.
The 2022 Lebanese general election is scheduled to be held on March 27, 2022.
